Still in Florida but
spending the winter
here, on the "Space Coast" is nice. Cocoa Beach is delightful and
Cape Canaveral offers an
abundance
of nautical resources. Fitting-out and rigging seems to take
forever
but the progress is rewarding. The web site has been cleaned-up
by concentrating
the construction pictures and design and technical aspects into new
top-level
categories. Although not as glamorous as cruising the South
Pacific,
living aboard has provided numerous experiences. Moving from the
sheltered lagoon to the open waters
proved interesting
when hurricanes struck. Other
folks have
expressed interest in building a similar custom catamaran so, by
popular
request, my Do-It-Yourself
Yachtbuilding
page is growing as time permits. The 15' Caribe dinghy has earned her keep as both a tender and
never-ending
source of entertainment. Updates are
posted less frequently but they're still uploaded occasionally so
check-back later. Numerous "unique" photos and a running
narrative of the entire project can be found in the updates.
