Update:  Dec 30, 2003 0300 EST

A new page has been added to highlight some of the "different" stuff that make SEDATION 4 unique.  More will be added as time permits.

A description of the seachest thru-hull scheme is another non-traditional implementation.

Don't miss the labyrith floorplan page either.

Construction of the Mast Tube is completed.  Installation commences today!

OK!  OK!   Here's some snapshots and movies that are NOT related to boatbuilding.
Hope you have plenty of bandwidth because some of these are huge files.

A clip of last weeks night launch from Cape Canaveral.  Please pardon the colorful language in my neighbor's commentary.
Here's me hard at work :) and here's how I spent my Thanksgiving Day / Birthday.
Here's a video of high speed dinghy play and yet another go-fast clip.
Christmas Eve day in Florida was also fun!

When things just get too hectic, I take the dinghy down to Bird Island on the Banana River.  It's an uninhabited refuge for zillions of flying creatures and a tranquil place to just relax.

I moved only 5 doors away and it was a major PIA!  It's amazing how much stuff I've accumulated since moving to Florida.  Another bookshelf is now required, aboard SEDATION 4, just to accommodate the nautical library additions.  Packing was such a chore that I've decided to keep most stuff boxed-up until moving aboard.  Living out of boxes is actually kinda fun :)

The Cocoa Beach Pier is hosting their 26th Annual New Year's Eve Bash and it's only a few hundred yards walk-to and -from.   Sure beats driving!  I'll be working on the boat January 1st in preparation for the return of my full crew on Friday.  Assembly will be rapid, so I probably won't have much time for updates next month.  Gotta run ... time to shoot another sunrise.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!  :)
